Product Designer

The Product Designer will collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to coordinate project deliverables and metrics for success. They will represent users in the product creation process to create empathetic and accessible designs across all personas.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, engineering and stakeholders to coordinate project deliverables and measurable metrics for success
- Contribute as a designer from end-to-end on projects, which means comfortable as a researcher, data scientist, strategist, and designer
- Assemble design documentation and prototypes that can be easily shared and understood by stakeholders
- Adopt and champion ongoing improvement to a user-centered design framework
- Represent users in the product creation process to create highly empathetic, accessible and delightful designs across all personas
- Work alongside engineers to implement pixel-perfect production-ready designs
- Implement an effective feedback loop to ensure deliverables meet required objectives and communicate findings
- Work to create and refine the design system patterns for Xpansiv brand and platforms
- Provide guidance and support in driving forward the overall brand, identity and aesthetic of the company
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to improve personal and team efficiency and productivity
Requirements
- 5+ years design experience in a consulting or in-house environment
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
- Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
- Prior exposure to UX research, including planning, designing, and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings, and articulating results
- Experience developing component libraries and design systems from thoroughly annotated wires to clickable prototypes
- Capable of generating ideas and prototyping concepts that are anchored in research insights, subject knowledge, technology requirements, and business goals
- Experience designing for enterprise or technical experience
- Strong graphic design fundamentals, including typography, iconography and composition
- Knowledge of web, iOS and Android platform requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business-oriented approach
- Fluent in UX wireframing and high-fidelity UI design prototyping tools like Figma
- Customer obsessed and motivated to accelerate the transition to a decarbonized future
