Design and prototype cross-platform experiences that are easy to use and beautiful. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive strategic alignment and maintain a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype cross-platform experiences that are easy to use, beautiful, and delight eBay’s customers.
- Create user scenarios, storyboards, journey maps, wireframes, Lo-Fi / Hi-Fi designs and prototypes throughout the full product development lifecycle.
- Explore a wide variety of design concepts to find the best solutions, balancing the business objectives with the customers’ needs.
- Collaborate and drive strategic alignment with cross-functional partners.
- Drive discovery through workshops and design sprint facilitation.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail while also thinking end to end and designing for scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience designing for software or consumer products within complex company ecosystems, demonstrating a hands-on approach to delivering end-to-end customer experiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Passion for craft, leveraging competitive analysis, user research, visual design, interaction design, prototyping, storytelling, new tool and technology experimentation.
- Strong understanding of the user-centered design process working collaboratively with other Designers, Product Managers, Product Marketing, Business partners, and Developers across the product ecosystem.
- Expert in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
