Senior Product Designer

Conduct user research and analyze insights to inform product design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution of designs and support implementation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and analyze user research using various methods (e.g., observation, surveys, interviews, user testing) to gather deep insights into user needs and behavior
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to conduct discovery research that informs and shapes the product roadmap, aligning it with user needs and business goals
- Translate user insights and business requirements into concept designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that simplify complexity for expert users
- Work closely with a global design team in Finland, Sweden and the US, as well as with key stakeholders in Finland, the US and Portugal, to ensure alignment and high-quality execution of designs
- Partner with developers in Europe to ensure that the designs are implemented to the highest standards, providing guidance throughout the development process
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in end-to-end product design, with a strong focus on user research and interaction design
- Previous experience with data-heavy software and complex use cases
- Demonstrated ability to challenge existing assumptions and product requirements based on user research and understanding of user needs
- Experience working directly with developers through implementation
- Comfortable presenting designs and articulating design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work effectively in an international environment with stakeholders in the US and Europe
- Ability to self-manage and contribute to a positive team atmosphere, sharing knowledge, and solving problems collaboratively
