Shape the strategic vision for rider loyalty and membership while navigating ambiguity to deliver impactful initiatives. Elevate design quality and mentor designers to amplify team capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Shape strategic vision for rider loyalty and membership, aligning cross-functional teams and senior leadership around cohesive, high-impact solutions
- Navigate extreme ambiguity to define and deliver 0β1 initiatives that unlock new business value and market opportunities
- Elevate organizational design quality by setting standards, providing expert critique across all levels, and ensuring accessibility and safety compliance
- Amplify impact through others by mentoring designers, facilitating stakeholder alignment, and resolving conflicts between competing interests
- Influence without authority using compelling narratives and systems thinking to guide product direction and business outcomes
- Partner with C-suite and VPs to ensure design work ladders up to company-wide strategic goals and anticipates future market needs
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working in Product Design, UX, UI, or an HCI related field with experience working on mobile and web design
- Experience leading complex product initiatives that drove measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in user-centered design methods and product development processes
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, outstanding craft, and business impact
- Outstanding visual design, interaction design, and product thinking capabilities
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions
- Experience mentoring designers and elevating team capabilities
- Highly proficient with design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
- Highly proficient with interactive prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, Origami, Cursor etc.)
- Excited and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
