Product Designer, Retail App Design

As a Product Designer, you will shape the user experience across apps used by Apple Store team members, creating innovative solutions that drive growth and adoption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is carried through to development.

Responsibilities

• Create designs, and contribute to design standards and patterns across various digital experiences and platforms
• Outstanding ability to communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership through story telling, visuals, and presentations
• Distill complexity to create simple and innovative design solutions that can be adopted in Apple Retail Stores & contact centers globally
• Conduct and consult on user research – analyze retail performance trends, customer insights, buyer surveys, and external market research to inform design solutions & future strategies

Requirements

• At least 4 years related design experience in product design (iOS, iPad & macOS)
• Submit a portfolio of concepts and design solutions that includes sketches, wireframes, detailed designs and prototypes focusing on iOS, iPad & macOS platforms
• Proficient and efficient with design and prototyping tools to visualize ideas and deliver work quickly
• Experience designing apps at every stage of the process, from conception through delivery, working closely with other designers & partners to ensure high quality outcomes
• Experience conducting or consulting on user research & usability testing
