Sr. Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer, you will advocate for the pain points of Clover's merchants and develop impactful product experiences. You will collaborate with diverse teams and be hands-on through user research, design, analysis, and iterative improvements.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the pain points of Clover's merchants and their staff
• Apply design experience to develop impactful product experiences that merchants need to thrive
• Use full range of visual, interaction, and user experience design skills to design real-world interactions that help small business owners accept payments and manage their businesses
• Take ideas all the way from the whiteboard to the finished interface
• Collaborate with customer experience and support teams to gain insights about product usage and adoption to refine experiences

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Design experience in a B2B or B2B2C SaaS product company
• Experience designing product experiences at various stages, in an Agile environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leading with authority while influencing others
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration and team building
• Understand customer needs, how they interact with products and define solutions to address their pain points
• Experience in planning and conducting user research
• Expert proficiency in whatever tools you use to get the job done, i.e. figma, miro, etc
• Thorough understanding of the constraints, capabilities, and conventions of designing for iOS, Android, and responsive web applications
