The UX Designer will design software and platforms for an enterprise, combining interfaces and workflows to enhance user experiences. Responsibilities include maintaining UX guidelines, designing wireframes and prototypes, collaborating with product and development teams, and conducting user research if required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and establish UX guidelines, principles and best practices
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that prioritize usability and aesthetics
- Contribute to the creation of high-quality deliverables on a work stream with minimal oversight
- Collaborate closely with product and development teams to ensure a smooth handoff and execution of designs
- Work with stakeholders to balance user needs with business goals
- Communicate and collaborate across disciplines and articulate your design solutions
- Leverages and foster the use of established UX techniques, templates, presentations, and assets
- Conduct user research and usability testing if required
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience
- Must have portfolio to showcase the design and problem-solving approach
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or InVision
- Ability to approach design challenges methodically and provide effective solutions
- Strong understanding of UX methodology and product lifecycle
- User-centric approach to design and an understanding of how to apply research insights
- Effectively operates within an agile project team and managing UX responsibilities against defined milestones
- Expertise in information architecture
- Ability to conduct user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and heuristic evaluations
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with developers, project managers, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience in designing for multiple platforms and devices
- Able to work in a diverse team
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role
