Lead design initiatives and deliver complex projects from conception to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and mentor junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design Initiatives: Own and deliver large, complex projects, from conception to completion
- Enhance Our Design System: Contribute to and enhance common design system modules
- Drive Product Quality: Improve product quality, proactively working on initiatives like testing and process enhancements
- Collaborate & Influence: Team up with and influence peers across different teams and organizations
- Mentor & Develop: Play a key role in mentoring and professionally developing team members at lower job levels
- Innovate & Solve: Work on complex and often vague problems in the security world
- Present & Share Knowledge: Utilize excellent presentation skills, often sought out by other teams for tech talks
- Contribute to Hiring: Be actively involved in interviews to assess design candidates
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in UX design in enterprise products, with a significant portion in a lead or principal role
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools
- Exceptional ability to translate complex requirements, user needs, and research insights into clear, intuitive designs
- Proven success navigating complex enterprise environments and leading outcome-driven design initiatives
