Concepteur UI (UI Designer)

The UI Designer will be responsible for creating user interfaces from scratch and facilitating workshops with end users and stakeholders. They will also contribute to the design book and ensure usability through various testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and evaluate innovative user experiences
• Work with a team of other UI designers, product owners, customers, and other stakeholders
• Facilitate UI workshops with end users and stakeholders
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback
• Develop a system complex from the ground up

Requirements

• Strong background in application UI design
• Experience using UI design standards and techniques such as ISO 9241-11 or the User Experience Honeycomb
• Experience facilitating UI workshops with end users and stakeholders and with usability testing methodologies such as think aloud protocols
• Deeply familiar with current and emerging UI paradigms with the ability to think creatively to drive towards new approaches
• Knowledge of tools to support the breadth of needs; from prototyping tools to measuring UX efficiency
• Ability to extrapolate from detailed workshops on specific topics to wider system design direction to contribute to the design book
• Excellent communication skills
• Bilingual English and French
