UI Designer (Hybrid)

The UI Designer will create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes while collaborating across disciplines to solve complex user-experience challenges. They will assist UI Tech Designers and Engineers with implementing assets in an iterative, feedback-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of both UI and UX design principles and their application to console gaming
- Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes as needed. This will be both from scratch and within existing designs
- Experience collaborating across disciplines to solve complex user-experience challenges
- Ability to work in an iterative, feedback-driven environment with evolving goals
- Assist UI Tech Designers and Engineers with implementing assets
Requirements
- Professional level of UI/UX skills (Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, equivalent field, or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of industry experience, preferably on a AAA title
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated; able to manage workload and meet project deadlines
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Proficient with industry standard programs (Adobe Creative Suite and Figma)
Key Skills
- Experience with controller UI
- Experience with user research and playtesting
- Art and/or visual design skills
- Familiarity with UI editors (Unity, Unreal or other)
- Passion for UI/UX, art, game design, and gaming
