You will be involved throughout the entire product development cycle, from research and discovery to final delivery. Your role includes designing intuitive solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance Manychat's experience for content creators.
Responsibilities
- Involved throughout the entire product development cycle, from research and discovery to final delivery
- Bring and apply empathy, curiosity, and creativity to develop innovative approaches that set Manychat apart from competitors
- Shape the functionality and experience of our products by collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and design peers to create intuitive, cohesive, and visually appealing solutions
- Iteratively design and test solution concepts in different levels of fidelity, from sketches to prototypes, to test viability, research hypotheses, and gather insights for improvements
- Create clear documentation to help the entire product group understand the rationale and the state of design decisions and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design with 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer at a technology-driven organization with a track record of shipped products
- A solid grasp of human-centered design principles and how to apply them in real-world projects
- Strong communicator, skilled at telling a clear story, getting everyone on the same page, and advocate for design with confidence and openness
- Belief in sharing your work early and often, encouraging teamwork, and keeping your ego out of the process
- Experience working closely with engineers before, knowing how to hand off designs effectively, and being committed to launching high-quality experiences
- Portfolio clearly explaining your work, design thinking, and how your decisions were backed by data
Key Skills
- Solid understanding of computational principles (e.g., data structures), automation concepts, and automation workflows
- Experience designing easy-to-use products that simplify the workflows of complex automation processes
