The Senior Product Designer will understand the problem space through research and create elegant solutions to complex interaction problems. They will work closely with Product Managers to define focus areas and contribute to the overall direction of the product.
Responsibilities
- Understanding the problem space through generative research, synthesizing insights
- Understand the different areas of our product and where HungerStation standards should be applied
- Create simple, elegant solutions to complex interaction problems with high attention to detail and scalability
- Work with the Product Managers to define your focus areas and contribute to the overall direction of your product area while measuring ongoing improvement
- Get continuous feedback from the users through different stages of the problem-solving process
- Use and evolve our design system to design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for your features
- Proactively drive cooperation within the design chapter & contribute to fostering collaboration with other departments
- Regularly present your work to peers, stakeholders, and leaders for review and feedback
Requirements
- 3-5 years as a Product Designer
- Written and spoken Arabic and English are a must
- Experience in a highly agile/scrum environment or KSA based start-ups
- Experience designing and shipping scalable products for mobile and web
- Proficiency in a variety of design tools, such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with JIRA, Notion is highly preferred
- Familiarity with building design systems is highly preferred
- A degree in Applied Sciences & Arts, Computer Science or any relevant field is preferred but not a must
