Senior Product Designer

Design robotic systems with a strong emphasis on user experience, form, and function. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products that are intuitive to use, service, and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Design robotic systems with a strong emphasis on user experience, form, and function.
• Balance mechanical performance with simplicity, elegance, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products that are intuitive to use, service, and maintain.
• Explore and prototype different housing designs, interfaces, and modular architectures.
• Integrate user feedback into design decisions to improve usability, performance, and clarity.
• Own 3D CAD development, prototyping, and mechanical architecture of robotic systems.
• Create parts and assemblies that are visually refined while surviving harsh environments (grain, sand, dust, vibration).
• Support low-volume production with clear documentation, exploded views, and assembly instructions.
• Work closely with branding, product, and engineering teams to bring a unified product vision to life.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product design, mechanical design, or robotics.
• Proven track record of developing product designs from concept sketch to working prototype and into production.
• A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful product design, as well as functional engineering.
• Strong proficiency in CAD (Fusion 360).
• Experience designing enclosures, housings, or mechanical systems with external visual requirements.
• Experience designing for dusty, rugged, or harsh environments (IP-rated enclosures, modular assemblies, etc.).
• Prototyping and iteration mindset, quickly testing and refining form and function.
• Strong collaboration skills across mechanical, electrical, software, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong English written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience working with international teams and in global markets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks, fostering both personal and company growth.
