Staff Product Designer

Lead the design vision and execution for strategic initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Take ownership of the entire product design process and ensure high-quality design standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations leadership to influence crucial product decisions and roadmap priorities.
• Take ownership of the entire product design process, ensuring seamless and delightful interactions.
• Develop and champion the design system, ensuring consistency and quality standards.
• Establish scalable design operations, fostering efficient collaboration processes and tooling.
• Lead research-informed design through user interviews, testing, and prototyping.
• Maintain unparalleled excellence in visual and interaction design.

Requirements

• 7+ years of impactful experience in product/UX design or a related field.
• Previous experience with accounting, finance, tax tools, small business SaaS, or early-stage product environments is highly preferred.
• Innate ability to see design's transformative role across the product platform, business, and user journey.
• Profound grounding in detailed visual and interaction design, expert-level prototyping in Figma, and systems thinking.
• Deep understanding of how exceptional design drives key product metrics and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborative, natural communicator, insatiably curious, genuinely humble, and effective influencer across diverse functions.
