Product Designer Product Designer

The Product Designer will analyze, design, develop, and implement IT applications and software components, focusing on autonomous vehicles and Driver-as-a-Service solutions. They will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cohesive product development and conduct user research to formulate requirements and concepts.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements, concepts, and solutions for various aspects of a Driver-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution within the context of autonomous vehicles
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product management, systems engineering, product design, and development to ensure cohesive product development
- Work closely with the product owner to analyze the product scope and break down requirements into epics and user stories
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of concept specification and resolve any concept-related issues
- Identify the need for workshops to align and clarify with stakeholders, envision, create, and perform these workshops
- Conduct user research with customer representatives to formulate requirements and concepts for a DaaS product
- Present concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the design process
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automated driving technologies
- Ensure concepts comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards
- Support creating wireframes and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively
- Take the initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks, searching for innovative and pragmatic solutions
Requirements
- Relevant experience (3-5) in product conception and design in an international context, preferably in complex software systems (logistics, transport, or telematics field is an advantage)
- Mastery of UX design methods in both theory and practice
- Confidence in requirements analysis and translating them into user stories or tasks
- Leading goal-oriented discovery phases, transforming high-level feature ideas into validated and aligned requirements (Design Thinking knowledge beneficial)
- Relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and evaluating workshops with stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to identify and solve design challenges
- Prior engagement in the automotive and transportation industry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to articulate concept decisions and rationale to stakeholders
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills
- Experience with SAFE framework is a plus
