UI/UX Designer

Develop a range of design artifacts including user flows and prototypes while employing user-centered design principles. Collaborate with engineering to launch products and conduct research to understand user needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a range of artifacts: low-fi concepts, user flows, design templates, wireframe prototypes, and high fidelity, pixel-perfect designs
- Employ user-centered design principles to create intuitive, impactful user experiences
- Create, test, and evaluate hypotheses about user behavior through rapid iteration
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs and determine the product design direction
- Partner with engineering to adjust scope and launch products to spec
- Work from SF Bay co-working spaces (both in San Mateo & SF) once a week
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with a portfolio of beloved user experiences
- Great attention to detail
- Highly proficient with Figma
- Communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Knowledgeable and curious about UX best practices
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate prototype and design work
- Thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial culture
