You will lead projects from early discovery to final delivery, conducting UX activities and creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes. Collaboration with developers and product teams is essential to ensure user needs and business goals align in the final product.
Responsibilities
- Leading the creation of visually compelling, user-centered interfaces
- Designing high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
- Mastering internal design system and understanding when to leverage existing patterns
- Collaborating with UX researchers, developers, and product teams
- Representing the design team in client meetings
- Contributing to proposals and client pitches
- Staying up to date with design trends, tools, and eCommerce best practices
- Mentoring other designers and refining internal design process
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience
- A strong and relevant portfolio showcasing interface design work
- Solid understanding of user experience principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Receptive to feedback and able to iterate accordingly
- Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite tools
- Familiarity with design systems and front-end development
- Experience designing for mobile-first and responsive environments
- Ability to estimate tasks and deliver within scope and budget
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English
Key Skills
- Experience building interactive prototypes and user flows with animations or transitions
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Background in branding and identity design systems
- Diverse professional experience
- Proven experience in e-commerce design
- Accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with Figma Variables and design tokens
- Knowledge of various e-commerce platforms
- Experience in conducting user testing and validation
