The UI/UX Designer will redesign and modernize user interfaces across ASP.NET MVC web applications and lead layout enhancements for internal ERP system pages. This role involves creating high-fidelity wireframes and collaborating with developers to integrate UI designs.
Responsibilities
- Redesign and modernize user interfaces across ASP.NET MVC web applications to improve usability and visual appeal.
- Lead layout and styling enhancements for internal ERP system pages built using ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Create high-fidelity wireframes and mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Develop responsive, accessible HTML/CSS/Bootstrap layouts that align with modern UI/UX standards.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate UI designs into Razor Views (.cshtml) and ensure alignment with ViewModels and backend logic.
- Safely refactor legacy .aspx pages, maintaining server-side bindings and control integrity.
- Participate in usability testing and visually validate layout performance across various browsers and devices.
- Optionally, support mobile-first design efforts for future iOS/Android operations applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing web application redesigns and responsive layouts.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap with a deep understanding of responsive design best practices.
- Working knowledge of jQuery and client-side scripting for enhanced UI behavior.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC: Comfortable working with .cshtml Razor Views, Familiarity with ViewModel binding, partial views, and layout pages.
- Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms: Ability to update .aspx markup and work with asp: server controls, Understanding of MasterPages, ViewState, and layout consistency without disrupting functionality.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for visual alignment and UI consistency.
Key Skills
- Experience redesigning ERP dashboards, data-entry portals, or other complex B2B web applications
- Familiarity with mobile-first design principles and native iOS/Android UI patterns
- Understanding of Git version control and pull request workflows
- Interest in developing or maintaining UI design systems and component libraries
