As a UX-UI Designer at Thales, you'll pilot and adapt UX methodologies, conduct user research, design user experiences, and contribute to the evolution of Thales' design system.
Responsibilities
- Pilot and adapt the end-to-end UX methodology in an iterative mode
- Conduct UX research activities (interviews, user tests) to understand user needs, context, working methods, and irritants in their journey
- Design end-to-end user experiences on complex products
- Formalize journeys, flows, information architectures, and interfaces
- Design prototypes and mockups with Quantum (Thales' design system), ensuring intuitive and adapted user experiences while respecting accessibility standards and guidelines
- Contribute to the evolution of the design system with new components
- Iterate with developers from concept to implementation
- Facilitate co-creation workshops and collaborate closely with teams and stakeholders (product, tech, data, etc.) to build useful, usable, and desirable solutions
- Participate in defining and prioritizing features and translating them into the backlog
- Communicate design decisions, recommendations, and justifications to stakeholders and team members
- Contribute to the UX strategy and design vision of products
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure global product experience consistency and homogeneity within CortAIx Factory
- Share practices, give and receive feedback, and progress the design culture in the delivery team and discipline
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes (lean UX, discovery, design critique, etc.)
- Stay informed about design trends, tools, and technologies to improve skills
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in UX-UI Design on complex digital products
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and UX structuring skills
- Solid visual design, prototyping, and micro-interaction design skills
- Ability to sketch quickly, iterate, test ideas, and adjust
- Mastery of Figma, design systems, and experience contributing to their evolution
- Good product culture and appetite for complex and technical environments
- Ease of collaboration with Product owners, Developers, and Data scientists in an iterative and incremental approach
- Strong oral and written communication skills, workshop animation, sharing, and feedback
- Assertive leadership posture, stimulating and flexible
- Ability to improve topics and engage others
- Pragmatic, impact-oriented, user value, and business focus
