BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is seeking a dynamic UX Designer to join their team, focusing on designing intuitive digital products for secure government customers.
Responsibilities
- Create user-friendly, innovative design solutions that address complex challenges
- Develop and present design concepts through wireframes, prototypes, and visual presentations
- Evaluate and improve existing digital products with a focus on usability, inclusivity and accessibility
- Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions (e.g., interviews, usability testing, journey mapping)
- Lead and analyse usability testing, stakeholder interviews, and other user-centered design methods
- Identify opportunities to improve the user experience and deliver business value
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior staff
- Present design solutions to clients, backed by research and best practices
- Advocate for user needs while aligning with business goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design methods and tools
- Proficient in design software such as Figma
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Security Clearance: Due to the nature of our work, successful candidates for this role will be required to hold an active eDV
