Senior Product Designer - UI/UX (Growth Squad)

Journi, a creative tech company and Austria's most innovative start-up of 2024, is looking for a Senior Product Designer to design experiences that delight users and impact business results.

Responsibilities

• Measurably improve purchase conversion as the responsible designer for our shop, checkout, landing pages, and more.
• Collaborate with business, technical, marketing, and UX roles to understand user and business needs and translate them into effective, appealing solutions.
• Design and prototype at all levels of fidelity - for iOS, Android, and Web - balancing rapid experimentation with in-depth exploration of complex user journeys.
• Carry out qualitative user research efforts such as moderated interviews or unmoderated usability tests.
• Lead or actively participate in cross-functional meetings and workshops to foster a user-centered design process and solve customer problems.
• Contribute to our design system while honoring our brand guidelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing native mobile apps and responsive websites, demonstrated through a portfolio of metrics-driven and exploratory projects within agile, cross-functional teams.
• A wide range of UX skills and proven expertise in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Prototyping, and User Research.
• Solid competence in Information Architecture and Service Design, with mastery in this area considered a plus.
• Excellent English skills to present design work, facilitate workshops, and articulate design decisions.
• You are permitted to work in Austria.
• You are able to relocate to / based in Vienna.
