Join L'Oréal, the global leader in beauty, as a Product Design Lead in our Beauty Tech Accelerator of Services. In this role, you will drive user-centered product strategy, prototype and test innovative solutions, champion design craft and consistency, connect design to outcomes, and lead through influence and coaching. You will work on exciting mobile-first digital products with top L'Oréal brands and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive user-centered product strategy
- Lead user research from exploratory to tactical
- Shape product direction with insights
- Tell compelling stories that rally cross-functional teams around user needs and opportunities
- Prototype, test and ship with confidence
- Facilitate ideation workshops translating insights into innovative solutions
- Move from low- to high-fidelity prototypes to make concepts tangible
- Design intuitive flows and interactions
- Run design critiques, tests with users, iterate and improve to elevate the product and drive user engagement
- Champion design craft and consistency
- Contribute to our Design system ensuring cohesion and efficiency across services
- Define and share Design principles
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies and new design methodologies to continuously elevate our design capabilities
- Connect design to outcomes
- Define success metrics, track experience impact, and work closely with product and tech teams to ship work that drives business results
- Lead through influence and coaching
- Guide other designers in your tribe, support team rituals, and grow a culture of design excellence through hands-on collaboration
- Articulate design rationale through user data and competitive benchmarks to influence product direction
Requirements
- Strong education in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Strong experience as a Product Designer with a portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, user impact, and competitive design excellence
- Proficient with design tools such as Figma
- Curious and biased toward action
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experiences in design leadership or mentoring roles
- Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Work in agile environments and excel at cross-functional collaboration
