Hybrid Full-Time Entry Level
A Product Design intern at Palantir, responsible for designing and prototyping software interfaces, conducting user research, and collaborating with engineers and product managers.
Responsibilities
- Leading design sprints for product teams
- Designing micro-interactions and visual design for complex analytical tasks
- Advocating for UX consistency by creating flexible, reusable UI components
- Helping define early product concepts and workflows
- Executing on visual design
- Conducting informal user research and pairing qualitative methods with quantitative information
- Collaborating with engineers and product managers to prototype and build out products
- Awareness of software interface development technologies
Requirements
- Must be planning on graduating in 2027
- A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project
Key Skills
- Experience designing and prototyping using tools such as Figma
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- High empathy and dedication to the user
- Strong ability to iterate through the design process
- Willingness to learn and make decisions independently
