Join DashBook, a mission-driven startup at the intersection of tech, publishing, and social media. As a UX/UI Designer, you'll work closely with the Product and Tech teams to enhance user experience across our web platform. You'll design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for both mobile and desktop interfaces, contribute to the design of new features, conduct user research and usability testing, and collaborate on the creation of a consistent and engaging design system. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about books, content creation, and digital publishing.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product and Tech teams to enhance user experience across our web platform
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for both mobile and desktop interfaces
- Contribute to the design of new features for authors and readers
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions
- Collaborate on the creation of a consistent and engaging design system for DashBook
- Help rethink how content discovery, crowdfunding, and publishing can be reinvented through intuitive design
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a UX/UI, Product Design, or related program
- Solid understanding of Figma
- Familiarity with design principles, user-centered design, and responsive design
- A good eye for detail, layout, and visual consistency
- Passion for books, content creation, or digital publishing is a big plus
- Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment (Bonus: Spanish and/or French)
