Product Designer (Confirmed/Senior)

Pennylane seeks a Product Designer to elevate user experience for accountants and businesses, focusing on B2B product design.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and user research sessions.
• Ensure continuous delivery on the product scope with the right level of quality.
• Contribute to the team effort, reviewing peers and tackling transversal topics.
• Mentor juniors Product Designers.
• Participate in the recruitment of new team members.
• Look out for the best UX/UI practices and benchmark the global tech ecosystem.

Requirements

• The ability to understand problems and empathise with users through user research and data analysis.
• Experience working closely with dedicated developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Great communication skills and the ability to share knowledge.
• Excellent visual design skills with experience working on complex systems.
• The ability to document design decisions and work with engineers and product managers.
• Experience generating new opportunities and ideas to improve processes, products, and culture.
• Hands-on experience coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team.
• Fluent in both French and English, with the ability to run user interviews in French.
