Join BlaBlaCar, the world's leading community-based travel app. As a Senior Product Designer, you will drive the design of the multimodal passenger experience, lead hands-on design work, and support a small team of designers. You will collaborate closely with various teams to deliver seamless user experiences across markets.
Responsibilities
- Define and solve user problems using insights from data, research, and BlaBlaCar’s strategic objectives
- Design and iterate end-to-end flows, from concept to QA, using the design system for consistency and speed
- Facilitate strong collaboration across design, product, engineering, and content teams
- Define and apply market benchmarks and best practices to drive innovation
- Foster a culture of design excellence and continuous learning within your team
- Balance hands-on design work with people management responsibilities
- Continuously refine solutions based on performance data, user feedback, and market trends
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, providing clear direction, feedback, and development support
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing user-centric solutions across mobile, web, and desktop, with at least 2 years in a management or mentoring role
- Proven experience managing, mentoring, or coaching other designers, including performance development and feedback
- Proficient in Figma
- End-to-end leadership across the entire design process, from concept to delivery
- Strong ability to simplify complex journeys into scalable, intuitive experiences
- Customer centric and obsessed by our clients problems
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strength in visual and content design aligned with brand and UX guidelines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Self-starter and high autonomy
- Fluent in English
