Expert in digital accessibility for front-end development with React, joining a dynamic team in Paris with remote work options.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accessibility audits on React modules, identify and prioritize remediation.
  • Pilot technical corrections, either directly or in collaboration with front-end developers, prioritizing based on product impact.
  • Key role in skill transfer, coaching and training product and front-end teams on accessibility best practices.
  • Integrate accessibility criteria continuously into the development process, actively participate in tests, reviews, and checklists.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in front-end development with a specialization in digital accessibility and experience in complex React projects.
  • Autonomous and rigorous, capable of managing an accessibility backlog and proposing pragmatic solutions.
  • Proactive, analytical, excellent communication and technical diplomacy skills.
  • Pedagogical, capable of coaching and training teams on accessibility best practices.
  • Engagement in inclusive digital practices and social impact motivation.
  • Advanced React (JSX, Hooks, Components), Styled-components / CSS-in-JS, state management (Redux, Context API), CI/CD with GitLab, Git workflows, accessibility audit tools (axe, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), user testing with assistive technologies, French (oral and written), technical English (reading documentation, meeting participation).
  • Expertise in accessibility audits (WCAG 2.x, RGAA, RAAM), integrating accessibility into development cycles, coaching and skill transfer, agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Expert knowledge of digital accessibility standards (WCAG, RGAA, RAAM), inclusive UX and design, inclusive digital transformation, legal compliance (e.g., USA 2026 deadlines).
  • Preferred qualifications: web development degree, accessibility certifications (IAAP CPACC, WAS), continuous accessibility or inclusive UX training.
