Join Thales, a global leader in high technologies, as a Senior UX Designer. You will be based in Paris and work within the Thales Digital Factory, a team dedicated to the group's digital transformation. You will be responsible for improving the user and customer experience of our Software Factory product, a SaaS environment for software engineers. You will conduct UX research activities, map overall experience journeys, facilitate co-creation workshops, and collaborate closely with the Chief Product Owner and Product Owners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct UX research (user and client) to understand needs and identify opportunities
- Adapt UX research methods as needed (feedback collection, questionnaires, user interviews, usability testing, etc.)
- Map end-to-end user/client journeys and service blueprints, identify irritants, and translate opportunities into actions
- Facilitate co-creation workshops with clients, users, and team members
- Collaborate with CPO and PO to understand user needs and design optimal solutions
- Define and prioritize user experience improvement axes in teams
- Identify and co-design improvements for existing features and new functionalities
- Follow up on user experience/client improvement actions, iterate, and integrate into user-centered backlogs
- Centralize user research data in UX repository tools
- Evolve UX measurement methodology and usage of products/services
- Communicate effectively to share research successes and ensure global impact
- Collaborate with other service and cloud Trustnest platform designers for consistency and homogeneity
Requirements
- BAC+5/Master degree
- At least 8 years of experience, ideally in SaaS and/or software
- Expertise in UX research and user-centered design
- Experience with UX repository tools (Dovetail, Condens, EnjoyHQ)
- Proficiency in Figma
- Strong communication, analysis, and synthesis skills
- Autonomy, rigor, and organization
- Empathy and creativity
- Leadership skills
- Experience in service design (plus)
- Familiarity with B2B and/or SaaS environments (plus)
- Good mastery of English (C1 minimum)
