Lead Product Designer (F/H)

Join Koala Interactive, a fast-growing company specialized in the social media sector. As Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for the user experience across the entire Wyylde product. You will lead the design team and ensure the quality, consistency, and value of delivered user journeys. You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, Product Designers, and QA to ensure the quality of UX/UI implementation.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in defining the product UX/UI strategy.
• Pilot continuous improvement of user journeys, using data, user feedback, and exploratory testing.
• Collect, cross-analyze, and analyze user insights (interviews, tests, analytics, support) to formulate optimization hypotheses.
• Design clear, engaging, and accessible user journeys from user research to final prototyping, for both desktop and mobile.
• Produce detailed Figma mockups and prototypes with a high level of detail and vision for component/design system.
• Work daily with Product Owners, developers, Product Designers, and QA to ensure quality UX/UI implementation.
• Lead Product Designers: mentor their skill development, challenge their perspectives, and ensure global design consistency.
• Establish a design culture centered on impact, rigor, empathy, and methodological rigor.
• Organize team design rituals (mockup reviews, inspiration sharing, UI/UX trends, cross-feedback).
• Represent the design voice internally, defend UX decisions with pedagogy and impact.
• Participate in design recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Design, including leadership experience.
• Mastery of Figma (design system, prototyping, auto-layout, variants).
• Excellent understanding of UX standards (accessibility, heuristics, mobile-first).
• Knowledge of user research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative).
• Experience with moderated and unmoderated user testing.
• Leadership skills, active listening, strategic thinking, and strong communication.
