Product Designer - Cybersecurity

Join Qevlar AI, a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup focused on revolutionizing cybersecurity. As a Product Designer, you'll lead design within the product team, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and customers to define and deliver the product experience. This role is ideal for someone with a deep background in product design, human-centered design, and UX/UI principles. You'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful problems with real-world impact in cybersecurity and shape the future of a product already making waves in AI and security circles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely to bring coherence and clarity to a still-evolving product, and translate this vision into a user-friendly interface
• Understand the complex nature of the work our clients do, develop an understanding of the work, to design solutions that deliver real value and insight
• Develop and refine prototypes, adapting and evolving them based on feedback and product direction
• Utilise the most effective and advanced tools in the space to reduce time from ideation to demonstration, and then engineering iteration
• Balance aesthetics with practicality and delivering outcomes
• Partner with software engineers, product, and customers to ensure that design concepts are feasible and align with product and customer goals
• Justify decisions with research, data, and effective practices from the design space, and defend directions for the product

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on early-stage or fast-changing tech products
• Experience working in cybersecurity is a must
• Comfortable working fully in English (French is a plus, but not required)
• Proficient in Figma
• Familiar with design systems and best practices, especially in a B2B environment
