Lead Product Designer at Bpifrance.io in Maisons-Alfort, responsible for leading a team of product designers and contributing to the execution of the design strategy.
Responsibilities
- Grow a team of product designers
- Fluidify team operations by animating and improving team rituals (weekly, design review)
- Scale best practices and learnings
- Ensure quality of deliverables (research, design, tools)
- Ensure excellence of designs and iterations of teams
- Accelerate design culture within Bpifrance
- Contribute to defining and executing design strategy
- Strengthen the lead designer and lead product manager partnership
- Contribute and refine business objectives of teams
- Accelerate stakeholder alignment and knowledge sharing via design
- Transform complex problems into simple and impactful solutions
- Conduct user research (strategic and exploratory)
- Ensure consistency of user journeys across different products and experiences
- Ensure quality of designed interfaces and experiences
- Evolve, disseminate, and use our design system (components → patterns → principles)
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product design with a track record of impactful products
- 4+ years of experience in managing design teams
- Competencies in design ops in structured design organizations
- Expertise in interface design and user research
- Ability to oscillate between strategy and operations while remaining hands-on
- Strong curiosity, data usage, and entrepreneurial culture
- Excellence in communication and presentation
