Join Mendo as our first Senior UI/UX Designer, where you'll shape the product experience across all our solutions, with a focus on our AI-powered tools. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and pedagogical experts to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences. Your responsibilities will include designing and improving interfaces, leading user research efforts, conducting UX audits, and maintaining our design system. You should have 5+ years of experience in product design, a curiosity for generative AI, and excellent communication skills in French and English.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve interfaces across Mendo’s core products
- Lead user research efforts with PMs to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Turn insights into prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
- Conduct UX audits to identify friction points and propose actionable improvements
- Champion accessibility, scalability, and UI consistency across products
- Maintain and evolve our design system with support from our design alternant
- Help PMs and developers explore product ideas through collaborative workshops and structured discovery methods
- Explore how AI can support and enhance design workflows and decision-making
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with strong skills in UI, UX, and end-to-end problem solving
- Experience designing tools or experiences that support learning, adoption, or workflows—ideally in B2B environments
- Curiosity for generative AI and a strong desire to explore how it transforms the way people learn and work
- Interest in learning design and gamification
- Ability to lead design initiatives autonomously, while collaborating closely with PMs and developers
- Mastery of Figma and familiarity with tools like Notion, Maze, or equivalents
- Excellent communication (in French and English) and ability to explain design decisions to non-designers
