Senior Product Designer, Rider App

Join Via, a global leader in smart transportation, as a Senior Product Designer. In this role, you will lead the design process for significant product areas, perform user research, create user flows and prototypes, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. You should have 5+ years of experience in digital product design, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for significant product areas from conception to implementation, while understanding technical constraints and spotting opportunities out of it
• Perform user research & usability test sessions and translate insights into design decisions
• Create user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Promote product discovery and ideation
• Work through the entire lifecycle of the project and collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Craftsmanship
• Proficient with Figma and high-fidelity prototyping tool
• Experience in motion and interaction design (advantage)
• Experience working on customer-facing mobile applications (advantage)
• Can-do approach, great social skills, and a team player
• Able to take ownership, work independently & be accountable for your work
• Passionate about smart transportation
