As a Lead Product Designer at Xero, you'll shape product strategy, vision, and experiences, driving meaningful outcomes for small businesses and advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive design best practices and uphold standards, creating high-quality, customer-centric experiences
  • Craft compelling product visions and tackle cross-portfolio design challenges
  • Lead advanced quantitative and qualitative research
  • Plan and lead complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the future vision of your product area
  • Provide design leadership and mentor other designers

Requirements

  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates ownership and impact across a range of product design facets
  • A degree, or training in design or a related field
  • Proven experience coaching and mentoring design teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A deep understanding of user-centred design principles
