Lead the end-to-end design process for Baseten's AI products, working closely with engineering and product to solve problems and design features for a technical audience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process: prototyping, internal reviews, usability testing, writing PRDs, and implementation
- Work directly with engineers to solve problems and ship high-quality, user-friendly features
- Contribute to and maintain our lightweight design system
- Work directly with customers to validate your work and solve real problems
- Help shape product direction and strategy across the team
Requirements
- Excellent visual design skills
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering, product, and marketing
- Ability to contribute to the frontend codebase
- Experience building or designing developer tools or familiarity with the developer persona (nice to have)
- Background working in early-stage, fast-moving, high ownership environments (nice to have)
- Some knowledge of ML, the infrastructure that powers it, or enthusiasm for learning more (nice to have)
