Senior UX Writer (Contractor)

We're seeking a Senior UX Writer (contractor, remote) to craft traveler-first messaging for KAYAK through language. This role focuses on product copy, onboarding, and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Work mainly with the Product Marketing & UX teams
- Craft and optimize product copy for web, app, and email
- Support onboarding and education flows with useful copy
- Experiment and test new messaging with product marketing and UX research
- Collaborate with Designers, PMs, Brand, and Localization teams
- Available for 10-20 hours per week with the ability to increase
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing or product content design
- Native-level fluency in English
- Ability to align writing with an established brand tone of voice
- Portfolio of user-centered copy across digital platforms
- Experience in travel, e-commerce, or data-rich products (a plus)
- Strong systems thinking for scaling messaging with documentation
- Comfortable with data, A/B tests, and UX research insights
- Clear communicator and natural collaborator
- Self-directed, remote-ready, and good with async workflows
