Senior Product Designer, Commerce Tools

Yahoo is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design for their Commerce tools, focusing on AI-powered shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of commerce tools across Yahoo products.
• Deliver intuitive, trustworthy, and accessible interfaces.
• Design tools, systems, and flows that are modular, scalable, and consistent.
• Advocate for clarity, simplicity, and usability throughout the customer journey.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, research, content, and legal teams.
• Prototype at varying fidelities to test ideas and communicate design intent.
• Work with researchers to uncover insights and iterate based on user feedback and data.
• Present work clearly and confidently to stakeholders and peers.
• Contribute to team critiques and evolve design systems.
• Proactively explore emerging AI tools and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience designing digital products, preferably including subscription and payment systems.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking, elegant interaction design, and polished UI craft.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and processes.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
• Proficient in Figma (and optionally Framer or similar tools).
