Amazon is looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead the design of in-vehicle experiences, integrating Amazon services into various automobiles.
Responsibilities
- Leverage automotive experience to create in-vehicle, new-to-the-world experiences
- Build trusted relationships with external and internal teams
- Influence automakers to build HMI products that delight customers
- Produce and review user flows, wireframes, lite prototypes, and UI specifications
- Create assets for the design system
- Define and write emerging design requirements
- Communicate design rationale in executive-level design reviews
- Initiate research and testing efforts as needed
- Codify designs and requirements into processes and practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of design experience
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
- Fluency in Japanese (preferred)
- Understanding of vehicle HMI patterns
