Staff Product Designer

The Farmer's Dog is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead high-impact, cross-functional design initiatives in the pet health space, focusing on personalized, adaptive experiences and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Define product and experience vision across core initiatives
• Create adaptable, intelligent experiences that respond to user needs
• Champion modular design, reusable components, and pattern libraries
• Uphold executional excellence across typography, hierarchy, motion, and interaction
• Use data, experimentation, and AI-assisted tools to inform design direction
• Mentor and cultivate a high-trust design culture
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve customer problems holistically
• Proactively source input and talk to customers regularly

Requirements

• 12+ years of product design experience
• Proven track record of leading high-impact, cross-functional work
• Strong systems thinking and experience with design systems
• Experience designing personalized and adaptive user experiences
• Exceptional skills in visual design, interaction design, and UX strategy
• Obsession with craft and attention to detail
• Curiosity and energy for emerging tools, especially AI-enhanced design workflows
• Experience working across digital and physical touchpoints
• Deep understanding of customer needs and design-driven problem-solving
