BNY Mellon is seeking a mid-level User Experience Researcher. Contribute to strategic research initiatives for the Wealth Services platform.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage research projects aligned to assigned product experience
  • Drive relationships and interactions with design and product experience leads
  • Build relationships with product managers to influence multi-year roadmaps
  • Manage communications around internal projects efficiently
  • Lead specialized research practice areas to enhance overall practice maturity
  • Take ownership in driving work forward while maintaining open communication channels
  • Anticipate problems and proactively develop solutions
  • Manage relationships with client-facing teams
  • Lead trainings and workshops in area of expertise
  • Contribute to enhancing team processes and organizational efficiency
  • Conduct user needs analysis and behavioral research
  • Facilitate user feedback on strategic business priorities and features
  • Validate new designs and product features before development
  • Conduct usability testing for early release and production software
  • Contribute to feedback programs for live software

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, or related discipline; advanced degree a plus
  • 6-8 years of experience in UX research
  • Deep expertise in facilitating qualitative research
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize information
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with enterprise feedback tools
  • Experience in securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Ability to work with limited direction on new assignments
