Responsibilities

  • Assist in the identification, planning, and execution of qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand users and their needs.
  • Translate business needs and stakeholder requests into research objectives and tasks.
  • Help synthesize research results and prepare clear presentations for the team and organization.
  • Experience in creating personas, scenarios, storyboards, conceptual models, and other design artifacts.
  • Demonstrate empathy for users, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Work closely with the UX Research Manager and cross-functional partners to identify and solve knowledge gaps.
  • Contribute to digital product creation at multiple phases and support implementation and post-implementation testing.
  • Apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative skills.
  • Apply strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Ability to communicate with designers about stimuli created in tools such as Figma.
  • Support and comply with company quality management system policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Develop an understanding of accessibility best practices.
  • Advocate for UX vision of patient and provider experiences/journeys.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors.
  • Travel 5-10% of working time, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, Engineering, or related field; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a UX Researcher or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and implement various qualitative and quantitative UX research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and communicate with a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, understand, and break down complex business operations, customer journeys, user needs, and workflows.
  • Experience with UX research utilizing methods such as usability studies, contextual inquiry, or surveys.
  • Understanding of both exploratory and evaluative UX research.
  • Comfort with moderating and/or notetaking during usability sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
