The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints seeks a UX Product Researcher to plan, conduct, and share research that informs the design of a wide range of Church products.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute user research using a variety of methods
- Analyze and synthesize data into clear, actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research
- Lead and contribute to research projects
- Consult with internal partners to understand research needs
- Mentor and support peers in research methods and best practices
- Manage relationships with external vendors
- Support global research initiatives
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, sociology, anthropology, cognitive science, instructional design, user experience, or other social science fields
- Three to seven years of experience in conducting research methodologies
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative methods
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data
- Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal and consulting skills
- Critical Thinking: Adapt research approaches to real-world constraints
- Research Facilitation: Confident in leading research sessions
- Independent Execution: Self-motivated and organized
- Project Organization: Scopes research questions and manages the research process
- Cross-Cultural Competence: Experience with culturally and linguistically diverse populations
- Multilingual Proficiency: Native or fluent proficiency in a language other than English
- Technical Fluency: Comfortable using tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Qualtrics, and statistical platforms
