UX Product Researcher

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints seeks a UX Product Researcher to plan, conduct, and share research that informs the design of a wide range of Church products.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute user research using a variety of methods
• Analyze and synthesize data into clear, actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research
• Lead and contribute to research projects
• Consult with internal partners to understand research needs
• Mentor and support peers in research methods and best practices
• Manage relationships with external vendors
• Support global research initiatives

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, sociology, anthropology, cognitive science, instructional design, user experience, or other social science fields
• Three to seven years of experience in conducting research methodologies
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data
• Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal and consulting skills
• Critical Thinking: Adapt research approaches to real-world constraints
• Research Facilitation: Confident in leading research sessions
• Independent Execution: Self-motivated and organized
• Project Organization: Scopes research questions and manages the research process
• Cross-Cultural Competence: Experience with culturally and linguistically diverse populations
• Multilingual Proficiency: Native or fluent proficiency in a language other than English
• Technical Fluency: Comfortable using tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Qualtrics, and statistical platforms
