Figma is looking for a technically-minded product designer to define the future of extensibility on their platform, focusing on tools, APIs, and experiences for developers and teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and research.
- Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Design and ship high-quality product improvements.
- Shape the tools, APIs, and experiences for developers and teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing UX and UI for software, ideally in developer tools.
- Proven ability to create simple, scalable solutions for complex user experiences.
- Experience managing complex projects across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in using prototyping to communicate design decisions.
- Understanding of developer concepts, APIs, OAuth, and code concepts (helpful but not required).
