Product Designer - Principal Associate

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate Product Designer to create innovative and human-centered product experiences. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems in a regulated, data-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in product design to elevate the quality and maturity of the design practice
• Champion the customer through the design process using data, research insights, and feedback
• Understand and apply business and customer strategy to align design outcomes with business goals
• Identify new opportunities and help the team navigate technical limitations
• Foster relationships with partners and expand networks to influence outcomes
• Present work to audiences across levels and job functions, integrating design frameworks, data, and research insights

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a Product Design role
• At least 3 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
• A strong portfolio demonstrating process, results, and impact
