Staff/Senior UX Researcher

Join Nutanix as a User Research Lead, where you will shape innovative user experiences for cloud and enterprise products. This hybrid role allows for a balance of in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive user research initiatives to uncover user needs and behaviors across our product portfolio
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user research findings into the product development lifecycle
• Develop and implement research protocols, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods, to inform design decisions
• Utilize telemetry data and analytics tools to enhance insights into user interactions and drive product optimization strategies
• Monitor and report on user engagement through dashboards and other reporting mechanisms, tracking progress over time
• Mentor junior researchers and designers, promoting a culture of learning and user-centered design principles within the team
• Champion user advocacy by effectively communicating research insights and user stories to stakeholders and leadership
• Establish key objectives for the first year, focusing on building a robust research strategy for flagship products and fostering a user-centric design culture

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of user research experience for web and/or cloud products
• Strong proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Expertise in analyzing telemetry data using tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
• Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations and reports
• Ability to synthesize and translate research insights into actionable design improvements
• Experience in developing user journeys and conducting contextual inquiries
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
