Kids Print & Pattern Designer, Amazon Private Brands

Amazon is seeking a Print & Pattern Designer to create innovative designs for its Private Brands Art team, focusing on Kids, Baby, and Licensed Products.

Responsibilities

• Researching and interpreting seasonal trends, color palettes, and patterns to create artworks in line with brand DNA
• Collaborating with PD, BM, Design teams to align prints with customer preferences and market needs
• Supporting the Print Manager to create trends and mood boards and present concepts to cross-functional teams
• Leveraging archived and purchased prints, or creating original print designs using various techniques
• Designing repeat patterns and engineered prints tailored to product and fabric specifications
• Adapting prints for a variety of materials and product applications across categories
• Creating colorways variations using concepts, seasonal color palettes, and brand guidelines
• Supporting the Print Manager to archive and input approved artworks into the PLM system
• Partnering with product designers, developers, and licensors to ensure designs meet technical requirements and brand guidelines
• Supporting the Print Manager with artwork assortment, deck creation, product mockups
• Working closely with print technicians to facilitate production and ensure quality control

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS
• Available online portfolio
