Graphic Design Lead

Sr. Graphic Designer to lead the visual concepts, designs, and layouts for Vallen, a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-visibility, complex design projects from concept to execution.
• Develop and execute designs across digital and print media.
• Lead and manage a design team of two in Mexico.
• Guide the overall design vision and maintain brand standards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Communications teams to understand project needs.
• Translate complex content and business strategies into visually compelling assets.
• Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to execution.
• Coordinate and manage workflow across the team using project management tools.
• Produce and edit short-form video content for social media.
• Serve as a strategic design consultant to internal clients.
• Staff management responsibilities, including performance appraisals and salary reviews.
• Immediate supervision over a unit, section, or department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in graphic design.
• Proven experience managing and leading a design team.
• Mastery in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant tools.
• Experience working with global brand guidelines and cross-cultural teams.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
• Basic web design and UX/UI principles knowledge is a plus.
• Project management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and detail-oriented skills.
