Senior UI/UX Designer - SaaS 100% Remote

Join Matomo as a Senior UX Designer to transform a legacy UI into a modern, user-centric experience for a global B2B SaaS analytics platform.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class product design that meets or exceeds industry benchmarks.
• Create and refine seamless user journeys, experience maps, and wireframes informed by user research.
• Own visual and interaction design from initial concept through final hand-off to development.
• Collaborate closely with local Product Manager and developers, and asynchronously with global product management and engineering teams.
• Translate user research and insights into actionable design specifications.
• Incrementally refresh and modernise a large legacy UI, balancing immediate improvements with a long-term vision.
• Conduct UX research, usability testing, and incorporate findings into design decisions.
• Engage in co-design practices, collaborating directly with users, product teams, and engineers to create practical solutions.
• Create numerous smaller, iterative design specifications to support continuous improvements within the existing UI framework.

Requirements

• 4+ years of UX design experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS or enterprise product environment.
• Demonstrable experience autonomously leading end-to-end design projects.
• Proficiency in UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Strong skills in creating wireframes, user flows, experience maps, and high-fidelity designs.
• Experience conducting and applying user research and usability testing insights.
• Exceptional asynchronous communication skills for working effectively in global, remote-first teams.
