Senior Designer (Brand & Digital)

Join Branch Basics as a Senior Designer to lead branding and user experience across digital platforms, contributing to the growth of a health-focused brand.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic ideas and designs that can be effectively executed across a variety of channels
• Responsible for seeing design projects through from initial kick-off to the project launch
• Work with brand guidelines and design systems to maintain brand integrity
• Work closely with the creative director, associate creative director, designers, developers, and project manager
• Create beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces for web
• Present design concepts effectively to team members
• Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies
• Become an expert in brand offerings, target demographics, product benefits, and competitive activities
• Help to put together creative direction for photoshoots

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant creative agency or in-house experience working on digital products
• Expert with Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects skills is a plus)
• Knowledge of the print design process and best practices
• Proficiency in various digital platforms such as Shopify and Klaviyo
• Strong understanding of digital design best practices, including responsive design, design systems, and accessibility standards
• Demonstrated design portfolio showcasing strategic, simple, smart designs
• Strong team player with the ability to work in a semi-remote team environment
• Genuine interest in health and wellbeing
• Ideally live and work in the Portland, OR area
