Volunteer UI / UX Designer (Mobile + Web) — Summer 2025

Remote Volunteer Mid-level

Join a small remote team at Firefly Spark to redesign a social app for Gen-Z, focusing on user experience, onboarding, and micro-events.

Responsibilities

Audit current MVP and map friction points
Redesign onboarding, Spark request flow, and geo-fence check-in screens
Build a lightweight marketing site
Polish motion/interaction details
Export assets and document components for dev hand-off

Requirements

Proiciency in Figma or Adobe XD
Understanding of mobile-first heuristics, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and responsive breakpoints
Ability to prototype quickly in Framer / Protopie / Figma
Availability of 35–40 hours per week from June to August
Passion for reducing Gen-Z loneliness
